Sip of the Month: Pi Lo Chun
Pi Lo Chun is my go to for rainy days now, and February had plenty of them! I love this tea, it's like spring come early.

There were plenty of breakfast blends to choose from at One Good Woman in Camp Hill. I settled on the Russian Country blend. A smoky tea sounded like just the thing to help brace against 6 more weeks of winter.

Halloween is passed, and I'm already looking forward to future spooky seasons. To this end, I thought I'd share with you one of my favorite tea rituals - that is Tea-Leaf Reading. Below I've laid out a step by step guide to reading leaves, something you can do for yourself and your friends. All you need is a question, some tea, a cup, a plate, and an open mind to get started.

To continue with our theme for the summer (which is very broadly books with tea references...or even, books I'd pair with tea) lets add to the shelf the dashing comic book adventures of Delilah Dirk by Tony Cliff.

I had the foresight to pick up a couple other blends, enough to hold me over while I anxiously await their return to Maryland. Here's their tropical tisane: Bella Coola

I can't remember my first cup of tea, only that I hated it. Tea was my mother's drink, my grandmother's, my great aunt's, my nana's, but not mine. More appealing were the fizzy syrupy sodas, milk swirled with chocolate, juice out of a box. I had a young uncomplicated palate. Thankfully tastes change, it's the growing that sticks with us.
